President Who??!!

But when was the last time you were presented with a complete unknown as your next president? Kalam, Zail Singh, Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed, V.V. Giri, Sanjeeva Reddy were all people you had seen long enough in public life, so you were unlikely to discover any surprises about them. This is where the Congress went wrong with Pratibha Patil. The Congress’s guilt is not so much about who they chose for the job as it is about how it trivialised that job, to begin with. - Shekhar Gupta, Indian Express, 30 June 2007

I am really skeptical about the kind of work she will do. Her onset wasnt particularly clean (with the bank scandal etc).. She was on the papers, but for all wrong reasons, it may rightfully be politically motivated fake news, but only time will tell. :) Anyway, Nice work :)

The view from that scope shows that her stature is multiplying fast and soon some enemy ruled state Govts will be rubber stamped to dismissal. All hail overlord Sonia!

Vote for a puppet prime minister and get a puppet president for free!
This is not to say I support the other puppet who was standing up against her.

Her Appointment is the saddest joke ever :)

How come you have not posted any new cartoon? Are you helping these guys in looking for the so called *political* stature of our president?

Excellent work. I hate to have a President on the support of majority of the MP's, most of times it'll end up with politicians who is part of ruling party get into president seat. At least for my belief Kalam the only person who acted without any political color. I don't think we can expect much from Mrs.Patil.

What exactly is the 'Detective' looking at?? (There is a tiny dot on the floor)
This one is a cool concept. Not many of my friends know that Prathibha Patil is our President now. Her fame is way too microscopic. I am not particularly happy with a Woman President. What difference does it make???Oh Yes, it makes History !!! History in dumps !!! The role of a President makes a dumb history !!!
