Rahul Gandhi: The Future Is Dim



Rahul Gandhi, the heir of India's Nehru-Gandhi family, has sparked a political storm with a series of controversial remarks that analysts said showed the immaturity of a likely future national leader. First, Rahul said that had his family been in power in 1992, it would have stopped Hindu mobs from razing a controversial mosque in Uttar Pradesh. Then last week, Rahul claimed family credit for India getting independence from Britain in 1947 and also for saying his family was responsible for the division of Pakistan and the creation of Bangladesh in 1971. - Reuters, 17 April 2007

    sorry, must be missing something - I still don't see the counter. but that's vikram's problem, surely...
    great conceptualisation on this one. Rahul Gandhi is turning out to be India's answer to the 'eloquence' of Bush (corrected to average intelligence of Indians vs americans of course!)what are the two unmarked corks for?

    The counter problem was on firefox... but it's fixed now :) finally...

    & the other two corks - well... there are many more skeletons in the closet - like the emergency... Bofors... & there was some Narsihma Rao scam... thinking of which I should add a few more corks to the boat....

    I don't think Rahul Gandhi having high command over his followers and mass appeal all over India,perhaps he having some attraction in North but in south most of the people doesn't know who's Rahul..If he want to do serious politics then he have to spend most of the time with people more than he spending with his laptop...
