New Delhi Blues

A speeding Blueline bus mows down a group of people crossing a road in South Delhi, killing five women and a man (Updated: and a child). Eight others, including some who were crossing the road, were injured when the bus ran into a crowd while trying to overtake a stationary Delhi Transport Corp (DTC) bus from the wrong side at Aali Goan, near Badarpur. Sunday's accident takes the number of people killed by the rampaging Blueline buses in the capital this year to 93.- Hindustan Times, 7 October 2007

some of your cartoon are good ... but there are others like this which really are very serious issues and cannot be made into a cartoon .. at least i don't find death and destruction funny. stuff like identity crisis etc were very good (in fact i mailed the link to few of my friends) .... but i really don't think cartoon about death is funny.

HI Shankar. I agree with you.. I was in two minds myself but did the cartoon never the less - as a criticism of the drivers & the bus operators... but well.. these are sensitive issues no doubt...

And what's a cow doing with the Ravan in the bus? Did t think it safer to ride withhim rather than walk the road? :)

hey guys these are blue line busses but they should change the name to RAMSAY Horror busses ... the death ratio is 93 but what about thousands who have got hurt and who have lost their body parts due to these killer drivers .....
